Every year, People come together in Susticacan (my parents' hometown) to celebrate La Virgen del Rayo. Susticacan is a beatiful little village in Zacatecas Mexico. I love that place so much, not only because its where I come from, or because I have lots of good old memories of the time I've spent there with friends and family, but also because it's where I met the love of my life.
Unfortunately, this year, like the past 2 years, we are not able to make it. Therefore, we can only be wishful towards next year.
To those of you that did make it this year, HAVE FUN!!! Make the most of it and don't take it for granted =)

Back to Normal
Tino lost his job on Dec 24th of last year, ( i know, merry christmas to us!). After many attemts to find a new job, he finally did. Today is his first day of work and this is more or less how our morning started.
Aracely: Papi, a donde vas?
Tino: A trabajar.
Aracely: Y mami?
Tino: A trabajar.
Aracely: Y yo?
So funny. They were so used to being taken care of by daddy that it seemed to confuse her a bit that we were both getting ready for work. She relaxed once we told her she was going to Estrella's (her cousin) house.
I hope they behave....

I am hooked
Have you tried the new cold caramel coffee at Mc Donalds? If you haven't and you love coffee, I am warining you. You'll get hooked. At least that's what happened to me. I've been buying it for an entire week. I must stop. Sure it's cheap ($2.04), but if you multiply that by 5 (days in a week), times 4 (weeks in a month), I am in it $40.80 per month for coffee? I really must stop !

4th of July
We spent the day at the lake today. Needless to say, Carlos and Aracely had a great time playing with sand.

They spent most of the day playing and showering themselves with it.

Tino decided to rent a waive runner. He had been wanting to do this for a long time, and finally did. He took me for a ride and I must admit, I was scared. It might have to do with the fact that I don't know how to swim (blushing) I know, I am embarrased to even mention it.

We went in the water for a while (no pictures because I was scared of getting thrown in the water with my camera...Tino's family will do that to you)

After the water, they went back to playing with sand again.
