HISTORY....

Since I don't have a history because I just started my blog, I want to show the biggest high lights of my life. Those moments that will forever live in my treasured memories. I love my children, my husband and my family. I am thankful with God for the life he has given me and that's why......LIFE IS GOOD !!!

Our move to Utah
I was born in Torrance, California and raised in little o' Watts. Dad always talked about moving to another state but I always said no. Mostly because I was still in high school and I wanted to graduate from there. After a couple of visits to Utah, in 2001 nothing was holding me back and we made the big move. I love it here.

I met HIM...

I met Fortino in our parents' home town
Susticacan Zacatecas Mexico, someday
in August of 1998. We dated for a couple of days....yes days! Then we both went our separate ways. We tried to stay friends and it worked for a while but soon after we drifted apart.

I dated another guy and I am sure he dated other girls, until we met again in 2001 also in Susticacan. When I saw him again, my heart stoped and I knew we had something special going on. We had a long distance relationship (it was hard, but we made it work) for a while.

In 2004 we got married. I might of not had the wedding I envisioned, but I am as happy as I thought and hoped I would be.

Our pregnancies

So far we've been blessed twice! I enjoyed both of my pregnancies until the last couple of days (those are just too hard to enjoy. One word, discomfort) I loved the fact that some little tiny person was inside of me. I am still amazed with nature and how two people that love each other can give life to such wonderful little creatures.

The day they were born

I got more than I expected when we went ot the hospital to give birth to our first child on Friday, April 28, 2006. A baby GIRL that we would name Aracely. After monitoring the baby's heartbeat, my doctor came to us with what to me was bad news. We had to have a C-Section. With every contraction the baby's heart rate dropped causing her to stress and make labor difficult.

14 months later and another C-Section on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, Carlos was born. We didn't plan to have another baby so soon after. I am so happy we did. It couldn't get any better, not even if we had planned it. We love you Carlitos.

Our babies get Baptized

When it came to choosing "padrinos" for our children, it was not hard to decide who we wanted. Baltazar and Elsa baptized Aracely on April 28, 2007, the very same day she turned ONE.

Chencho and Arcie baptized Carlos on June 14, 2008. A couple of weeks before his first birthday.

MOM and DAD

I am greatful for having parents like mom and dad. They did a great job raising us. I admire their courage, their strength, their hope and the way of life they gave us. We didn't have everything growing up, but that made us appreciate what we had and work hard for what we wanted. I love you mom and dad.

My Family

I always thought we were a big family. But it only got bigger when in-laws, nieces and nephews came along. And we keep growing. Too bad some of us are here in Utah and others are in California.
