the ZOO

My mother in law invited us to her company picnic party and I am so happy and thankful she did. We had a good time at the Zoo, ate burgers and played bingo. I took a bunch of pictures, but here are my favorite:

This ball is in the entry of the zoo and it is always surrounded by kids. Aracely joined in the fun. I think anything with water will get their attention.

We rode the train. The driver was nice enough to take us a picture.

There is a baby elephant at the zoo. She was born on August 10, 2009 and weighed 251 pounds. She seemed to have all the attention. There was a line just to see her. c-u-t-e !!!

Here is another picture of them, they were my favorite. I think I really could have just stood there watching them all day long. The little elephant followed her mother everywhere. At times we were even thinking her mom was going to step on her. But she didn't =). The dad was on the other side. I wish I would have taken a picture. I still can't decide who she looks like the most...LOL (ok, that was a lame joke!)

Another baby at the zoo was a giraffe born on July 31, 2009. I don't remember her weight or height, but she is a cutie.

Aracely and Aida wearing their consolation prizes. They had a ton of cool prizes, but Carlitos was the only one that won something......a backpack!

After lunch we went for another walk. Aracely has no problem holding our hand while we walk. Carlos on the other hand, well u get the picture.

We rode the carousel 3 times.


By the time we got off, I was so dizzy. Carlos and Aracely were up for another ride.
